All you have to do is to create the corresponding characteristics in KEA5 as below
Then, check if the CO Area is checked in /AFS/99000355 - Activate Billing Interface at SKU Level
Then, assign the new characteristics in Concerning Area (KEA0).
The Grid aliment and grid category will be automatically derived for documents generated by sales (operation type A and F). Fortunately, you don't need to maintain a new rule in KEDR.
Usually the grid element is a composition of up to 3 dimensions, such as color and size. If you want you can create new characteristics to split up the grid element into 2, see example below:
